As an advisor to international organisations, I have, for many years, witnessed employers and their expats attempting to find their way in the labyrinth of information counters and the many suppliers behind these counters.
With the advent of the Internet, I saw possibilities arise to structure this enormous amount of information in a well-organized manner and thus bring more efficiency into the practice of international assignments and expatriation.
In the many meetings with employers, expats, and expat service providers, this idea was further elaborated and fine-tuned, ultimately resulting in a formula that I have christened expatise™, as this arose from the expertise of the parties involved in the expatriation.
This expatise formula forms the basis for the HR Portal and the Expat Portal of the same name, which, in the meantime, have developed into an instrument that can be customised to a large degree to the personal circumstances and individual wishes of the users.
In order to be able to fulfil this promise, in addition to expertise, the involvement of the expatise team vis-à-vis the user and the confidence of the user in this team and in the instrument are required.
